Musky locations for anglers

Because we have entered the 2021 warm-water field season, we have opted to share the last known locations for the fish that we have located so far to help increase catch rates of tagged fish in the James River this year. Below is a map with the last known locations for the fish we have tracked in 2021 without any dead fish. This map will be updated each Friday until the end of the warm-water field season (i.e., end of September 2021).

Note: Some locations may not be current (i.e., not from the current week) because of difficulty locating some fish.
